We recently sat down with APS’s Kiel Locklear to see how operations have evolved throughout the many sectors they serve since deploying ProCura solutions.



So, Kiel, what made you go with ProCura IoT?


What first caught my attention was the flexibility and intuitiveness of the dashboard. From its quick telemetry view, in-depth graphing, trending, reporting, troubleshooting — the data never stops, which gives us unlimited visibility.


Once we started to really understand the capabilities of ProCura - it was no longer just an option, ProCura became the standard at APS.



Sounds like our tools have helped change the way you all operate.


They have — ProCura helped us move in to a more proactive mode while providing the customer a higher percentage of uptime. It is the first tool in our toolbox. When a problem does occur, we now show up with the correct parts the very first time and are able to avoid the initial diagnostic trip.

 

 

What has been the response from your customers since installing ProCura for them?

 

By utilizing ProCura our customers are now able to fully focus on their business operations, rather than worry about the performance of their compressed air systems. They can be several hours away from a plant, yet we all now have a complete and transparent view of every asset in a system, at all times.

 


ProCura helps get you a bit out of the weeds, so to say?


Absolutely. We have a customer who utilizes similar designs at each of their locations and we were able to use ProCura’s trending function across multiple current systems to engineer a new, optimized and more efficient approach. Thanks to ProCura’s non-stop flow of data, we have a tool that tells us the story 24/7. No more guessing, no more rule-of-thumb.
